2021 Featured as the Board Member for the Advisory Board

In 2020-2021, I joined the Napa Valley College MESA/STEM Advisory Board. I was a student delegate for the advisory board. During my time as an advisory board member, I coordinated meetings with 9 Board Members every month. I collected data from students to gauge student needs and communicate with 128 students to connect them to professional development opportunities and other services by email, and Discord. Lastly, I created and administrated the MESA/STEM Center Discord with over 30 different channels programmed to be customizable to student’s interests using a “bot”. 

In Spring of 2021, I had the honor to be selected as the Board Member Highlight for the MESA/STEM Center Newsletter.
